What You Need to Know:
- Ok, so before you resort to the x button at the top right, just hear us out will ya? It's not too often that you come across things like this and so we found it appropriate to at least shed some light on it, since it seems quite interesting. While it certainly resembles something that came out of Akira or Neon Genesis Evangelion, the store staff at Saikorodo in Naha, Okinawa were more surprised than we were when they witnessed this hellish pile of insanity seeping out of the wall.
- At first glance it truly looks horrid and something that you'd likely not want to see while you're nonchalantly walking around at work, but for the folks at the shop they took advantage of this and shared it on their Twitter. It turns out however that it's not some blob from outer space trying to consume our human brains for a snack, but rather an issue relating to wall installation. The staff at the store were trying to fill in a gap in the wall with polyurethane spray foam, which is known to expand and convulse at certain temperatures, and well, that it did after it solidified and pertruded out of the wall.
- The foam has since then been removed but not forgotten, as now folks who enter the beautiful shop can observe this foam of doom in all of its glory. The staff clearly have a wild imagination and a sense of humor, which we like very much, since it garnered a lot of attention from people online even comparing it to certain characters in other shows. It's not often that you see this everyday so hey, why not celebrate the spontaneity that's life?
OH GOD NO! Burn it!
If I ever saw this on my work shift I'd probably faint on the spot.
