Yoi Takiguchi has everything that every girl would see in a perfect guy or Prince. Long legs, deep voice, handsome face, you name it. There is one fact about Yoi Takiguchi that she is a girl. She has beared the nickname of Prince for as long as she can remember until she met Ichimura-senpai, who sees her as who she is. Yoi wasn’t sure how to see Ichimura eye-to-eye in this sort of relationship, especially since he is also a prince himself.

Discussion Time
Yoi Takiguchi has little to no prospect of getting a boyfriend. The reason behind this is that the people she met during her high school see her as nothing more than a princely character and think they do not have a chance to date her, that is until Kohaku Ichimura came into her life. During their first encounter, Ichimura mistook her as a boy, but upon realizing her gender, he took an interest in her and being a straightforward guy as he is, he told her his true feelings.
1. Fast Pace
Even though the main characters just met, the progression of their relationship is at full throttle. Ichimura was well aware of his feelings toward Yoi and decided to hang around her. Yoi hasn’t gotten used to speaking with anyone except her female friends, Nobara and Kotobuki, so having Ichimura talking to her as close friends is a first step to speak to a boy her age. However, there is something mysterious behind Ichimura and we and Yoi aren’t sure if we should trust him
2. In the End
Being labelled as the school’s Prince forces her to act like one in front of others or create a persona for herself. In most cases, she acted that way to be strong and able to help those in need. But who will be able to protect her? Ichimura approaching her can be seen a bit too bold in the short amount of time they spent together knowing each other. He intends to remind Yoi that she may be strong and brave, but deep down in her heart, she is a girl.
1. This is Just a Beginning
The whole volume 1 of this series builds a foundation of main characters getting to know each other after their first encounter. There isn’t much going on like any external factors involved in their relationships, such as high school students or admirers willing to get in their way. Probably because of their titles as Prince is the main reason for that lack of disturbance.
Final Thoughts
A story of an androgynous female high school protagonist who couldn’t communicate well with men suddenly met with another prince of the opposite gender steers her into a new direction for better or worst, to experience what it feels like to have a guy genuinely interested in her romantically. The story is very straightforward, just like Ichimura with no strings attached, but one couldn’t help but feel something more behind the scenes. However, this volume 1 doesn’t have anything crazy happen in the story. It mainly focuses on the relationship between the two main characters without anyone disturbing them except for their friends' phone calls and interruptions. Overall, this is a normal romance manga between two male and female princes.
