The Taihaku Empire has begun to mass produce mechanized beasts. These beasts are a tremendous boon in power allowing it to seize command of the holy land. Now they’re planning for world domination in order to expand their reach.

The year is now Taihaku 99. Battles continue to break out in various lands led by a resistance against the Taihaku Empire. A single girl appears with one of the legendary holy weapons, the Xuanyuan Sword, in hand. She rises up against the mechanized beasts of the Taihaku Empire which move with the power of a bygone era. At the same time, her childhood best friend, a young boy, is taken by the empire and made into a slave. Regardless of the fact that their village was attacked by them, the boy is fascinated with the mechanized beasts. Thinking that the other is dead, the young boy and girl meet again when the fates of everyone will be dragged into the raging stream of history.
