Norman…you’re truly scaring us more and more with each chapter. Chapter 126 of Yakusoku no Neverland was chock full of “whoa!” moments and we will begin with the first big shocking reveal. Norman’s plan is to make a civil war occur using the Geelan Clan—the demon group he made that contract with in the previous chapter—and the other demons. We learned that the Geelan Clan was persecuted wrongly and have sought revenge against their brethren. Following this big reveal, we get the second shocker moment when Emma tells Norman that his plan to revert all demons back to organisms without human intellect might fail due to some monsters not needing human meat to keep their form. Norman’s face goes insane when he shows that he knows who Emma is talking about and tells them she’s from a clan called the Evil Blooded Girl. Was this demon savior from a while back truly this important? Next chapter can’t come sooner, folks, but till then let’s talk about what chapter 126 did right and where it fell apart slightly.

Why You Should Read Yakusoku no Neverland Chapter 126

1. Revelation After Revelation

Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 126 was akin to a series of gut punches left and right. We see that Norman’s plan is quite dark as he wishes to create that demon civil war with no regard to innocent demons getting wiped out. Then learning that our demon savior from almost a hundred chapters ago is actually an important figure in a clan was just the final punch to our hearts. Yakusoku no Neverland never fails to make an entertaining chapter and chapter 126 is no exception.

2. Norman Is Indeed Changing

Remember that smart boy who seemed kind and helpful way back? Yeah, folks, that young man is gone and has been replaced by someone with a darker heart. Norman truly is showing his newer self with how he reacted to Emma’s comment and how he puts on this innocent face while still talking about mass death of a group of beings. All demons aren’t kind—as evident from Yakusoku no Neverland—but just like humans, we see that some can be kind and innocent. Maybe next chapter will reveal that even the so-called nicer demons aren’t kind but regardless Norman’s change is so amazing and scary we can’t focus on anything but seeing his change. Emma and Ray…we think you’re going to have to face your best friend sooner rather than later…

Why You Should Skip Yakusoku no Neverland Chapter 126

1. What’s Going On With Our Other Kids?

Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 126 was truly spectacular, but it makes us realize an interesting truth. Since these later chapters, a lot of our other kids and characters have kind of fallen by the wayside. What is happening in Grace Field? How is Phil holding up a year later? A lot of the side characters who had relevant rolls in Yakusoku no Neverland have been kind of missing in action as of late and we wish to hear how they’re doing. Phil especially, that kid probably is suffering and we hope he’s able to pull through somehow.

Final Thoughts

Another phenomenal chapter of Yakusoku no Neverland in our honest opinions. Chapter 126 has given us two big reveals and has even added a big question in the form of who is our demon savior from the past? Norman continues to be a strong presence for the series as well making us question every motive he has and what he truly wishes to see happen. What did you think of Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 126?
