A bit late but guess what, folks? Emma and Ray have made it to the capital and only a few minutes after Norman’s attack! Chapter 148 of Yakusoku no Neverland isn’t an action heavy chapter but instead has our other kids—Emma and Ray alongside Don and Gilda—reuniting within the capital. Thanks to some help from other children, Emma and Ray arrived in record time to still have a chance at stopping Norman. Emma is also ecstatic to once more see her demon friends Mujika and Sonju. After their tearful reunion, they discuss a means of the children making it to where Norman is within the castle. Mujika gives Emma a transmitter so they can keep track of them once they arrive and when the time comes to have them all reunite once more. Norman, as we see in the beginning of the chapter, has his moves all going according to plan meaning Emma and Ray need to be quick but smart. Will the duo outsmart Norman and do it before his attack comes to fruition? The race to arrive at the capital is done, but a new race commences to stop Norman before his plan is achieved! While we wait several more days till chapter 149 launches let’s look at the best elements from chapter 148 of Yakusoku no Neverland!

1. Grand Reunion In The Capital

It’s been awhile, but we’ve gotten some of our biggest characters to reunite in the demon infested capital. Don, Gilda, Ray, Emma and our demon allies all have joined together and with their combined strength they can beat Norman! Time is constantly moving forward and those precious seconds give Norman a means to achieve his goal…

2. A Battle Approaching?!

Right now, Norman is the series’ antagonist in many ways and it seems a battle between the childhood friends is approaching quickly. Who will win this battle though? Will it be Emma and Ray who wish to spare the demons but save those being eaten by them? Will Norman eliminate the demons—both good and bad—to create a new world for the humans? Two opposing ideals are now within the capital and those ideals will lead to a battle that probably will rock the foundations set within Yakusoku no Neverland!

Final Thoughts

Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 148 didn’t need a lot this week to excite us. Our children are all within the capital and movements are being made. Who will emerge victorious when both forces are fighting with their hearts and minds!? We have some ideas but we’ve talked enough for now.
