A crocodile lives his regular life with his animal friends unaware that he will die in 100 days.

It’s March and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Everyone has gathered at the spot for the cherry blossom viewing party, but Wani is nowhere to be found. Nezumi, Wani’s best friend, is getting worried, so he leaves on his motorcycle to pick him up. On his way there, Nezumi takes a picture of some cherry blossoms and sends it to his friends. As he continues on his way, he finds a phone with a cracked screen on the road displaying that exact picture. It’s none other than Wani’s!

100 days prior to the cherry blossom viewing party, Wani was living an ordinary life. He would visit Nezumi in the hospital and make him laugh with his favorite one-liners, talk on the phone with his mother who sends him mandarin oranges every year, pursue his crush on his coworker, get ramen with his friend, play his favorite games, play basketball, watch movies, and do other day-to-day things.

100 days have passed since the cherry blossom viewing party. The pink flowers of the cherry trees are no more and the trees are rich with green leaves. The petals that were once fluttering to the ground have turned into rain. Unable to face the memories they had with Wani, his friends start contacting each other less and less. That is when someone new comes to their town—an assertive frog. Nezumi and the others are puzzled by the frog, but they continue on with their lives that will never be as they once were. This is a story that could happen to anyone.
