This is the 2nd Season of 3-D Kanojo (Real Girl)
Hikari Tsutsui is a third-year high school student who is only interested in 2D things and that includes girls. Through a peculiar incident, he meets Iroha Igarashi who is of transcendent beauty and starts to date her! While being manipulated by the uninhibited Iroha, he learns about what real hardships and difficulties are like and grows as a male otaku.

3D Kanojo: Real Girl 2nd Season is just one of a handful of anime with a second season this winter, but it’s one that we were surprisingly anticipating. While the series isn’t full of drama, we’re curious to see how the relationship between the two socially awkward (in their own ways) Hikari and Iroha goes as they deal with more things being thrown at them. However, we were surprised to see that during this season of 3D Kanojo: Real Girl, more of the drama revolves around the other characters. One of the obvious ones has to be Yuuto and Sumie, which was brewing last season. It’s been pretty cute to see Yuuto come out of his shell instead of blaming everything on his being a social outcast and otaku. Then there was a surprising twist in the plot: the inclusion of Hikari’s parents who undergo their own drama! It just goes to show you that not all romances have to revolve around high school relationships even in anime. We’re glad to see the inclusion of Hikari’s parents. So that’s two dramas, but the season isn’t even half over. What is in store for us? We assume something else that tests the relationship between Hikari and Iroha, but it seems that we’re bound to get a lot of other side stories as well, so maybe we’ll get a lot of that good old character development for all the characters all around! Who else wants to see Arisa stop being an annoying pretty boy chaser as much as we do?
