What You Need to Know:
- For three weeks for the olympics that is! With the Pyeongchang Olympics aournd the corner, the official twitter for 3-gatsu no Lion went online yesterday and announced that starting after the episode that airs tomorrow, February 3rd, the series will take a three-week break from the broadcaster NHK.
- NHK is the national broadcaster in Japan, and channel does have a responsibility to cover the Olympics. Thus, all series aired by NHK will most likely be affected by the Olympics.
- Broadcasting should resume on the 24th unless NHK tries to do a rapid release to catch up. Just for reference, NHK made the massive hit Log Horizon and they will be producing Piano no Mori in spring and Radiant as well in Fall.
They didn't even apologize or say something about 'please support 3-gatsu no Lion from here on out!'... Rude.
Ahhhhh this is why the series only has 22 episodes for the second season.
