What we aim to do is introduce you to the latest and greatest shows that are coming out season by season, sometimes rehashing the more obscure old ones, but mostly to help out other viewers that have no clue what they’d like to see.
That’s what I’m aiming to do here by talking about 4 of the anime that will be continuing on from the Fall 2014 season to the Winter of 2015, so without further ado, let’s get into it!
The Seven Deadly Sins
[Japanese: Nanatsu no Taizai]
So far this season, this is one of the most fun shows to watch. It’s based in a kingdom called Britannia wherein 7 Knights have been accused of a conspiracy the overthrow of the King. These Knights have been since called the Seven Deadly Sins, and are rumored to be dead. Ten years after the fall of the Sins, the new Holy Knights have staged a coup and assassinated the King to become the new tyrannical rulers themselves. Elizabeth, the Kings only daughter then sets out to find the locations of the Sins, should they still be alive, to help save the kingdom.
This is a fun anime because even apart from the fights (which are awesome), there’s a plethora of jokes. I mean, joke on joke with a perverted lead character and a jealous giant, it is one interesting ride. I’ll personally be continuing this one through the end!

Parasyte: The Maxim
[Japanese: Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu]
This is my personal favorite from this season, well, my favorite “HOLY $#@! THAT’S AWESOME!” anime. The story follows a high school student named Shinichi Izumi who has, believe it or not, had his right arm replaced by an alien parasite. These parasites usually take over the entire body, but thanks to some quick thinking he managed to contain it to solely his arm.
The Parasytes use humans as food, often jumping from one body to another simply to try new things or to avoid being caught. Shinichi chooses a different path; he chooses to eliminate the Parasytes that cross his path to prevent more human deaths. Together with a Parasyte of his own named Migi (who simply wants to survive); he does his best to survive through Parasyte fights.
TL;DR:
You need to watch this.

Your Lie in April
[Japanese: Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso]
Want some feels? Are you down on your luck right now and want something to lift your spirits higher than a mountains peak? Then this is the show for you.
In this series we follow the piano prodigy Arima Kousei, who can no longer hear the notes of the music he plays. To him, it all sounds gurgled; as if he’s underwater. He soon meets Kaori while waiting on his friends who, after a certain misunderstanding, turns out to be who his friends were heading to meet! They decide to head off to her violin recital, where she manages to amaze an entire crowd, including Arima. As it turns out, she knew who Arima was all along and wants to help him find his music again. Thus begins his adventure with her, the background music that even feels like it’s soothing your soul and the sheer joy you get from watching a character being rebuilt into a better person from what they view as nothing.
This is one you don’t want to miss, believe me.

CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon
[Japanese: Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryuu no Rondo]
This series is placed in a different world, one where humanity has reached the pinnacle of technology, “Mana.” Mana, while not by our standards, is not magic. Instead it is simply technology, but it shows you how far the technology has gone to. With Mana, there is no war, there are no needs and everything is met. It is a Utopian society.
Angelise is the first princess of the Misurugi Empire and turns out to be what is called “Norma,” or someone who cannot use Mana at all. Because of this, she is stripped of her title, has everything taken from her and is left for dead on an island. This island is filled with other Norma who fight invading dragons that come from another dimension on their own mechanized dragons called “Paramails.” Together with the other Norma, Ange fights these invaders: all the while trying to figure out what she’s still fighting for.
This is an anime specifically directed towards men, believe me you can tell. Don’t let this fool you however; it’s one show you don’t want to miss out on. Character development you ask? Well if you can call Ange trying to figure out who she is or who she can be now character development, then definitely. Fights? Like magic. There’s so much more to Cross Ange than first meets the eye, and you don’t want to miss out!
