Himiko Inaba Highlights (Spoilers Beyond This Point)
1. Love for Everything
Thanks to her love of nurturing games, Himiko is very kind and is willing to put her skills to use and take care of anybody or anything she needs to. Himiko has unconditional love for all of the weird creatures she comes across while playing the game. Whether it is the giant panda or, Punitsuki, the gross little slime creature with Iride's head, Himiko is always willing to love them when nobody else will. This is by far one of the best aspects of Himiko's character and we get to experience so many cute moments with her thanks to this.
2. Serious Himiko
Most of the time Himiko is laid back and upbeat, there are a few things that she takes very seriously. When it comes to caring for things or nurturing games, Himiko is deadly serious and won't let anybody get in her way of making sure everything is perfect. Himiko's serious side also comes out when she needs to keep the boys in the group from fighting. It is nice to see this serious side to Himiko and shows that there is a lot more to her than meets the eye.
3. Emotional Moments
Out of everyone in Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] Himiko gets the most emotional moments. Most of the time Himiko is a little quiet and is easily embarrassed, but at the same time, she is always happy and smiling. However, there are plenty of moments where we get to see a deeper and more interesting side to her character. Some of her best moments come when she has to say goodbye to the panda Murasaki and when she reveals her sad past to Anya. These emotional moments add so much to Himiko's character and really make you feel for her and want to protect her.
4. Caring Nature
Even though she is the youngest member of the group, Himiko serves as a sort of motherly figure for everyone with her caring nature. Himiko is always worrying about everyone around her and she spends most of her time making sure everyone is getting along. When her soft and caring style doesn't work, she is always ready to throw a few flash grenades around to calm everyone down.
5. The Third Stage
The third stage of the games involves the group hatching and caring for a girl and helping her on her quest to fall in love. With the combined thoughts of Himiko, Anya, Akatsuki, and Makino, the girl that is hatched is a schoolgirl uniform wearing panda with an afro. Despite her strange appearance, Himiko instantly falls in love with her and treats her like her daughter. This is the first time in the series we really get to see Himiko do anything. The whole episode shows off all of the great aspects of Himiko's character and while there are plenty of other great Himiko moments throughout the series, this one is incredibly impactful and instantly makes you fall in love with her character.
