6 Anime Like Togainu no Chi [Recommendations]

Togainu no Chi is the anime adaption of a popular boys' love visual novel developed by Nitro+CHiRAL. The story is set in Tokyo (renamed Toshima), after the Third World War, that left Japan totally devastated. Our protagonist is Akira, who is framed for murder and, in order to clear himself from that accusation, has to face street fight tournaments called Igura. There's another tournament, though, and it's called Bl@ster. It is said to be impossible to face, and the hardest. Akira decides to go for it, as he has nothing to lose, and so his bloody journey begins! As we said before, this is the anime adaption of a boys' love visual novel, but for as explicit as the visual novel is with boy on boy action, this doesn't apply to the anime. In fact, Togainu no Chi keeps a mild shounen-ai background, and mainly focuses on fights and tournaments. With this said, here we give you other six anime that are similar to Togainu no Chi, so if you were unsatisfied with just 12 episodes, give one of these anime listed below a chance to tame your craving!

Once again, we find an anime that share with Togainu no Chi a strong action trait. Both our protagonists are very similar; Dante and Akira share a lonely character and a willing attitude. They both seem unable to listen to what their friends suggest, and act on their own in spite the consequences. Aside from the main characters, both Devil May Cry and Togainu no Chi have a lot of violence and blood, and a feeling of discomfort that keeps the viewers bathed breath as anything could happen any moment.
