- A wonderful bit of news for fans of the ARIA anime series, as the official Twitter unveiled just moments ago that a winer 2020 anime project is in the works! It was revealed that the anime would be released to celebrate ARIA's 15th anniversary. The new project will be casting Rina Satou as Athena Glory, which is quite the news as the late Tomoko Kawakami was the original seiyuu who carried the main role for the series. She sadly had passed away in 2011 due to ovarian cancer. Kawakami played an integral role and even years after her passing her energy is still felt by the team. We wish that the new ARIA project takes off!
