What You Need to Know:
- Abracadabra Inc is about to release their next title: “Harakiri! Geisha Girls”! What is it exactly? Harakiri! Geisha Girls is a visual novel, to be available on iOS and Android, targeted towards a male audience (or to whoever enjoys the company of girls as love interests). The game is filled with humor and references to the otaku culture, spacing from quoting “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” to the more recent “Azur Lane”. Taking place in Nippon (a stereotyped version of Japan), the game heavily relies on stereotypes of Japan as seen from an otaku perspective, the depiction of anime girls and the concept of “waifu” in said subculture.
- As a classic visual novel/dating sim, the game will be divided into routes. In each route, the player will be faced with some choices that will make the affection parameters for certain characters increase. Getting to a certain level of affection with a love interest will unlock her sweet ending at the end of the route. The game is free to play, as the player will be able to read a certain amount of chapters every day for free.

The protagonist, an otaku who grew up in the United States and has a thing for samurai, drops off at Fujiyama High, a prestigious school known for churning out the best freshly-baked samurai.
For plot purposes, the protagonist who has now become a special scholarship student at Fujiyama High is subject to one debatable condition: if he fails to earn the trust of his fellow students in a week, he must undergo HARAKIRI!
The protagonist starts a group called Shinsengumi and starts creating bonds of trust with the girls at the school.
The only daughter of the Daimyo Katsuragi family.
An ordinary girl you can find just about anywhere: pure, docile, and expressive of her feelings.
Often scolds the protagonist for his idiocy.
Her stout heart makes her tenacious and unyielding.
Fujiyama High's prefect and designated tsundere. Also known as The Flaming Horns.
When it comes to moral precepts, she's the strictest around and doesn't think twice before relentlessly abusing and punishing students who violate the school rules.
She'll end up having quite a few violent collisions with the protagonist.
Gentle and tolerant girl embodying the feminine virtues of old Japan. She is the only daughter of a rich merchant.
Despite her quiet and elusive personality, she's in fact possessive and her fear to be alone drives her plans to make the protagonist hers, and hers only.
An untalkative, unemotional, inexpressive ninja.
She tends to appear and disappear like a phantom, doesn't talk much and if she does, she sounds almost mechanical.
She has no common sense whatsoever, and she's often regarded as mysterious－ disconnected from the world, even.
Muna is also a streamer for popular videogames, where she's a bright and talkative internet sensation.
Currently Running Campaigns
Abracadabra is looking for followers on social media!
Getting up to 500 followers will allow everyone to spin the gacha a few times and get free stuff in the game, such as pieces of clothing and breast sizes!
Abracadabra also started a campaign on Kickstarter, hoping to raise funds to record more voices to implement in the game. As a matter of fact, they have a few recorded already and they will be available in the game since day 1, but only in the tutorial and some in the main screen. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/abracadabra/voice-cast-for-harakiri-geisha-girls
One of the stretch goals is to release an adult version of the game on Steam, with new stories and explicit artwork!
