In the world of zodiac signs, one of the more interesting ones is Sagittarius. Those who fall under the Sagittarius sign can be some of the most honest people who equally love giving, making jokes and exploring the world in the way they feel is best for them. Sagittarius also tend not to hold back in saying what’s on their mind and have little to no patience. That being said, finding anime a Sagittarius would love actually becomes one of the easier goals as there is a smorgasbord of anime that just scream Sagittarius! In this update to our 5 Anime a Sagittarius Would Watch list, we explore some of the more recent anime releases. If you’re a Sagittarius reading this right now, let’s see if we can find you some great anime geared for you!
5. Hyouka
Those who love school mysteries and stories have to be some of the most curious individuals we know. That’s why we know many of them must be Sagittarius and probably would love Hyouka. Exploring the world of ghost stories, paranormal oddities and strange mysteries, Hyouka just screams “made for Sagittarius folks” as it embodies their idealistic nature and open minds. We implore our readers to grab their Sagittarius friends and show them Hyouka all while saying “this reminds us of you”. They would deny it and will find an anime crafted for them!
4. Kaguya-Sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen (Kaguya-sama: Love is War)
Comedy anime is a genre formed with the Sagittarius in mind as most of our fellow Sagittarius love a good joke. But, nailing the best comedy anime isn’t easy and that’s why we think Kaguya-sama: Love is War is a great anime for any Sagittarius individual. Focusing on the romance between two smart and exceptionally patient individuals—who don’t want to be the first to admit their love for one another—Kaguya-sama: Love is War feels right for many Sagittarius as they can be brutally honest but equally find it difficult to find the right timing for said honesty. That’s why watching two love-blinded characters try to just be honest but can’t find the best way to be honest just feels like such a Sagittarius way of doing things.
3. Dr. Stone
The beauty of a fellow Sagittarius is that they roll with the punches. If they end up in the woods, lost and without food, they will not fall victim to self-doubt but will grab a tool and start trying to survive. In the world of Dr. Stone, we could see many Sagittarius rising up to the challenge of being in a literal world without technology and modern-day conveniences. Teen scientist Senku, our super-smart MC, is transformed along with the rest of humanity into a stone statue by a green light and finds himself reviving in a world retaken by plants and beasts. Senku must figure out a way to save the world and restore it despite how little he has to help him achieve his goals. Yet, like most Sagittarius, Senku isn’t a quitter and uses his mind to muster up tons of ideas and gadgets to make his goal a bit easier to obtain.
2. Yuukoku no Moriarty (Moriarty the Patriot)
In the world of Sherlock Holmes, there was always one antagonist that truly tested the great detective and that was Moriarty. This quick-witted villain was blatantly honest, smart, cunning, and quick to make decisions regardless of the impact of said actions. Who does that sound like? Exactly, those born under the Sagittarius sign! Which is why Moriarty the Patriot, an anime following the tale of Moriarty—quite loosely—is the perfect choice for our fellow Sagittarius otaku! Watching Molarity challenge the status quo and using his quick thinking strategies to win various challenges is the perfect way to describe those who were born under the Sagittarius zodiac. Plus, Moriarty the Patriot is an excellent mystery anime that really is a fun watch.
1. Fumetsu no Anata e (To Your Eternity)

To Your Eternity fills out every parameter found in your typical Sagittarius mold. If you are someone who loves going out into the world and seeing beauty/danger/life up close and personal, then you’re going to fall in love with To Your Eternity!

Sagittarians (November 22nd – December 21st) belong to the Fire element of the zodiac, alongside Aries, and Leo. They are ruled by Jupiter, which is the planet of growth and abundance. Sagittarians are represented with the archer, and they are always looking for intellectual, or spiritual adventures. In fact, Sagittarians are very curious people who crave for knowledge. With their sense of humor, Sagittarians attract friends and lovers; what's more, they are very good story-tellers, but beware, because their tongue is very sharp, and it can hurt badly, hiding behind the “I'm just speaking the truth here!” statement. As can be seen, Sagittarians are speakers, more than listeners, and with their knowledge, they like to talk a lot, even though they could come off as arrogant at times. However, they cherish friendship and family more than anything else! In this article, we tried to guess what anime Sagittarians would enjoy watching, so stick with us to discover our picks!

Recognizing the huge power in his hands, he decides to extinguish all the criminals, becoming the god of a new world. But the best and most eccentric detective is about to destroy Light's plans...
Death Note can be seen as an intellectual adventure for Sagittarians. In fact, all the mind games that Light and L – the detective – play to each other will ignite a Sagittarians' curiosity, leaving them craving to know the outcome of their duel. What's more, the action-packed scenes, and the feeling of being on a razor will make a Sagittarians stick to this show until the very end!
2. One Punch Man

- Aired: Oct 2015 – Dec 2015
One day, Saitama decides to become a hero, so he trains himself in superhuman conditions, becoming invincible and winning every battle with just one single punch. Genos is a cyborg asking Saitama to become his disciple; he manages to persuade Saitama into joining the Hero Association, and the two of them start looking for more powerful enemies, seeking the emotions that fighting brought him before becoming the strongest man!
Just like they are humorous people, Sagittarians love humor, and comedy! But they do love action, too. That's why One Punch Man is the perfect candidate for a show a Sagittarius would watch. Saitama is a funny character, as exactly as a Sagittarian, he has no patience for long explanations: it's easy for a Sagittarian to like him. What's more, as a fan of the dynamism, Sagittarians would enjoy the action-packed scenes and fights! Be sure to watch season 2 which is jam-packed with more action!
3. Zankyou no Terror (Terror in Resonance)
- Episodes: 11
- Aired: Jul 2014 – Sep 2014
A terrorist attack on a nuclear facility in Japan ends with only one word written in red: “VON”. The police are trying to find the culprits, but it seems impossible to fathom who was behind the attack. It's only six months later that something begins moving: two teenagers, calling themselves Sphinx, upload a video on the internet, claiming that they will destroy Tokyo. In the beginning, the entire matter looks like a joke, but Sphinx aren't joking at all, and they start sewing chaos and mayhem in the city!
We think a Sagittarius would watch and enjoy Zankyou no Terror, because on one side it ignites a Sagittarius' craving for knowledge. On the other side, as we know that Sagittarians cherish friendship, in Zankyou no Terror they will find this theme as the very cornerstone of the entire show. Moreover, this is an adrenaline-filled show, that will leave a Sagittarian with bated breath!
4. Prison School

Each of them will learn, at their own expense, what the word “punishment” means to the terrifying girls!
With Prison School, Sagittarians will like for sure the camaraderie among the five boys, and the mutual trust they will come to build up. Outnumbered by the girls, the boys will use their brains to “defeat” them. Just like Sagittarians are humorous people, they like a burst of good laughter, so these five boys' deeds will delight them for sure.
5. Steins;Gate
- Episodes: 24
- Aired: Apr 2011 – Sep 2011

As it turns out, it can send emails to the past, modifying future events. But it's only when a tragic event takes place, that it will prove to be very useful...
We think that for a Sagittarian, Steins;Gate could be yet another intellectual trip, this time to the future and back. If it's true that Steins;Gate is able to ignite every viewer's curiosity, for a Sagittarian who is always up for a mental challenge, this show is like their piece of cake!
