It’s been a month since Ao no Exorcist chapter 110 graced us and chapter 111 wastes no time in jumping off from what we learned in the last. Our cloned doctor—as Yukio learns—is indeed cloning himself more and more as he looms closer to death each time but we also learn that his body is beginning to undergo changes with each successful clone. Meanwhile, the order is beginning to have some internal case in large part to Arthur questioning if he really is killing demons or if there is a secret sacrifice going on where humans are working for demons within the order. If that wasn’t enough to shock your core a bit, chapter 111 also reveals the illuminati’s grand plan…to eradicate all of the current world in order to re-create it from the ground up to make equality for all human beings! Yukio doesn’t seem to bat an eye to this information but you have to wonder if he really is okay with this ideal. Our chapter ends with Lewin being met by Ryuji, Lucy and Izumo to get the proof Lewin needs of what’s going on behind closed doors! Lewin learns that the proof they need is in Romania and is free by Osceola with their destination set. Chapter 111 does give one final panel that shows Yukio heading towards an unauthorized laboratory and we have to wonder…what is behind those closed doors!? With another month wait for chapter 112, let us discuss why you need to read chapter 111 of Ao no Exorcist!
1. The Illuminati’s Plan!
Ao no Exorcist chapter 111 truly shocked us when Yukio learned of the plan to be executed by the illuminati. When they claim they wish to destroy and rebuild life from the very beginning it makes us wonder how they plan on doing said task? Is the force capable behind the authorized only lab? Hopefully chapter 112 will have those answers we direly need!
2. Lewin Takes Action!
We all felt bad when Lewin was basically jailed for failing to prove his thoughts on the doctor but looks like he might be in luck. Thanks to the gang, Lewin is freed and ready to head to Romania where the evidence he needs might be there and waiting to be shown! Will the doctor easily be outed or is there danger in the Romania base? We can’t wait to find out and see a possible battle break out!
Final Thoughts
Ao no Exorcist chapter 111 was pretty intriguing! Learning the Illuminati’s main goal was truly shocking and equally seeing Yukio unfazed by it made us wonder how far he’s willing to go. Lewin also getting another chance to prove what we already assume is going to possibly lead to some encounters—and possibly battles—when him and the rest end up in the Romania base!
