What You Need to Know:
- Today is has been leaked on the internet that BanG Dream! will be getting a special TV block on New Year's Day. The special will run for a grand total of 13 hours and the channel hosting it is Tokyo MX.
- The special has not revealed yet what exactly the contents of it will be, but a commenter pointed out that you could show the series twice, all the way through including the OVAs, and still have plenty of time left. No news yet though, as to what the special will be about as it has not been announced.
- BanG Dream! was an anime that aired during the Winter 2017 anime season. While originally touted as the successor to Love Live! or iDOLM@STER, the series did gain some traction, but not as much as initially anticipated. Ironically, the side band within the BanG Dream! franchise, Roselia, has taken off to more popularity than the band that the series is centered around, Poppin' Party. Keep your eyes peeled for more information as it comes out!
13 hours of BanG Dream?! Tokyo MX did get all my... err... the letters that we all sent as part of an underground campaign to get more people into it.
You know that the Poppin' Party fans have to be pumped! Though... I wonder how many strings had to be pulled to get a 13 hour prime time slot for new years?
