'Miss Bernard Said' interesting. So... is this maybe like Read or Die but with more library??

Hmm well... this is clearly comedy and slice of life. Oh and it's a short, 5-minute anime. Hmmmm... Libaries and novels, so something like Aoi Bungaku...

Centered on books? Well Ghost in the Shell: SAC focused on Catcher in the Rye and Aku no Hana was obsessed with Flowers of Evil. Bungaku Shoujo and Ghost Stores aka Yami Shibai weaved literature into it well.

Those are all good. Let's see what happens in the series. Supposedly she has not read the books but likes to read? This series is something to keep an eye on.

Synopsis

Sawako Machida, aka Bernard-jou (Miss Bernard), wants to seem like an avid reader despite not actually reading any books… This comedy series follows her and her literature-loving friends and is filled with their love towards books, ‘little bookworm things’, and gags about cult classics.

Sawako Machida

Voice Actor: Eri Kitamura

The protagonist, a regular visitor to the library who’s always reading books. However, rather than paying attention to the contents, she’s actually only focused on how much of an avid reader she looks to other people. She says to call her Bernard-jou, but no one actually does.

Shiori Kanbayashi

Voice Actor: Mikako Komatsu

A hardcore sci-fi fangirl. A bookworm who is very particular about sci-fi and gets heated once she starts talking about it. She’s always making retorts at Sawako, but sees her as a friend who she can lend books to and borrow books from.

Endou

Voice Actor: Mitsuhiro Ichiki

A boy who goes to the same library as Sawako. His hobby is reading really old bestsellers and thinking that they’re not that much of a big deal after all.

Sumika Hasegawa

Voice Actor: Aya Suzaki

A library committee member who is in love with Endou. Has been a Sherlockian through and through since elementary school.
