The year is 2062 AD. Following the failure of the Great Work Automation Project 20 years ago, the project’s core AI Artemis chose to fight against humanity, and the Earth has been devastated.

At a secret underground research facility, a girl named Empress awakens. A colonel of the Peace Foundation Army explains that she is one of the three surviving guardians of humanity. However, she has no memory of that period.

Empress’ current mission is to destroy the orbital elevator that Artemis is building to connect the Moon and the Earth. If this elevator is completed, the huge mechanical army that Artemis is building on the Moon will swarm down to the Earth.

However, her way is blocked by her former comrades Dead Master and Strength, Artemis’ robot army, and the cult “educational organization” Smiley.
