Discussion Time

Whoa, Boku no Hero Academia chapter 225 took no time at all before we got into a fight between the Metal Liberation Army and the League of Villains! Both sides are quickly locked into combat with a kidnapped Girian making proclamations to Re-Destro that they wouldn’t be foolish in trying to save him. If only he knew what was going on through Tomura’s mind. Meanwhile, our chapter shifts focus primarily to Chitose versus Toga and we see how psychotic some of the members really are. Chitose who used to always look for a scoop in a story begins to assault Toga with memories of her humble beginnings. Readers learn that Toga didn’t always start off being insane but was known to be loved at school and did quite well. During her middle school graduation though, Toga disappears from the world with those who knew her wondering why? As Toga is squeezed and hit with explosive attacks from Chitose and her minions Toga gives us a few final images for the chapter that truly show her mental psyche. Toga responds to Chitose question of why she would leave a normal life with a foreboding response. From Toga, she utters “For Me, This Is My Normal” with a scary face that truly shows she means those words. Not only was this week’s chapter of Boku no Hero Academia a semi-revelation for fans of Himiko Toga, but it also showed that these Meta Liberation Army members are not to be trifled with. They have skills and clearly are able to stand against others. Till we wait for more intensity next week, let us discuss our 2 top moments of chapter 225 and why you need to read it this week with haste!

Why You Should Read Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) Chapter 225

1. Himiko Toga Revealed?!

While we don’t get a full flashback for Toga’s past and what truly led her down to this path of villainy, we do get at least a glimpse of her previous life. If Chitose’s words are to be believed, then Toga wasn’t hated by anyone or given reason to become a villain. Instead, Toga chose to leave her loved ones behind and sought to become the girl we fear now in the present. This brief confession of her past makes us wonder if we won’t soon get a full chapter dedicated to Toga sometime soon. When that happens, prepare for us to go in detail as we are itching to learn what made Toga just this psychotic!?

2. Trained Warriors

Part of us fans of Boku no Hero Academia figured the Meta Liberation Army would be tough, but we didn’t think it would be from the actual combat aspect. Chapter 225 of Boku no Hero Academia sheds light on their combat skills and shows they can hold their own against others in a real battle. Re-Destro sheds some light on their skills by explaining to Girian that the army has been trained and aren’t to be taken lightly. This shocking truth makes us giddy for future chapters when the Metal Liberation Army goes against others—possibly Pro Heroes—and engages them in battle!

Final Thoughts

Boku no Hero Academia chapter 225 was a quick 15-page affair but it felt longer with its intense fighting and shocking Toga reveal! We are loving this current arc of Boku no Hero Academia and we can only assume even greater things await our villains in future chapters! Care to theorize with us here at Honey’s Anime?
