Chapter 231 of Boku no Hero Academia was an action packed ride and it truly starts some big movements for our characters. Gigantomachia has a brief—and we mean one panel image—appearance where he begins his search for Tomura which is what the League of Villains leader predicted. Then we get some interesting news and an appearance from Hero #3 Best Jeanist who has been away from our tale for a while! According to our third ranked hero, he’s missing a lung but is still able to survive and plans on re-entering society soon which made us quite happy to hear, the world needs the denim hero. The battle between Dabi and our winter Meta continues as well as more Twice clones appearing entering the seemingly thousands! Though the real Twice shows his face and it’s in front of the Meta Liberation Army’s main lead Re-Destro! Needless to say, we are pumped for chapter 232 and are eager to see where all these events will ultimately lead to!
1. Big Moves
One of the best elements of a series like Boku no Hero Academia is that you can do quite a lot with its story. In chapter 231 alone we see several big characters make rather large movements that could imply things are going to get extreme soon! Can Twice beat down Re-Destro, will Dabi come out victorious and is Tomura’s plan destined to fail? So many questions, but it’s those questions that make us want to read the next chapter even more!
2. Return of Best Jeanist
Best Jeanist took a big hit after that incident with All for One and we truly thought he was out for good. Yet, in 231, he reappears alive and quite stable with the proclamation he is coming back soon! Will Best Jeanist come in and kick some League of Villain tail or will he have to beat down the Meta Liberation Army? Regardless of the answers, we do know his reappearance makes us happy and we’re sure many other Boku no Hero Academia fans are too.
Final Thoughts
Boku no Hero Academia chapter 231 had an insane number of events transpire in its short 15-page chapter. There is a boat load of questions we have buzzing in our hive and we can only believe that chapter 232 will answer a few of them…or at least hope it does!
