Twice, you better save Toga! Digressing from that, Boku no Hero Academia 233 was a quick thrill ride this week as all out war seems to be going on literally every panel. Twice is attempting to give Toga a blood transfusion from her “double,” Spinner is engaged with a very aggressive Meta and Tomura is fighting Re-Destro…and doing poorly. Re-Destro shows his full Meta ability in the form of…Stress? That’s right readers, the more stress Re-Destro has, the more he can engross his body making his body stronger and larger…he legit became a giant and crushed Tomura’s hand like it was nothing. Things seem to be going poorly for the League of Villains, but Tomura’s plan seems to be in play with Gigantomachia approaching if the final panel is his movement. Gigantomachia is the only hope for Tomura at this point as fighting Re-Destro seems impossible for him in his current state, but can he survive long enough for the beast to appear? Chapter 233 was incredible, folks, and while it was short—really short—it has some truly noteworthy moments making it a must read today!
1. Re-Destro’s Power!
Re-Destro continues to climb our awesome villain ladder. While his Meta power— “Stress”—seems silly, the effects aren’t. The fact that he can make himself double in size and power is just incredible and might be one of the cooler abilities we’ve seen the Meta Liberation Army use so far! Gigantomachia versus Re-Destro…we need that to happen now please!
2. Toga will Live?!
Twice continues his screen time by showing that he doubles others too if he knows their measurements. Besides the ecchi implications of finding Toga’s measurements—which made us laugh out loud by the way—it shows Toga can be saved! Twice, you need to focus and save our evil girl! Without her, cosplayers around the world will weep and so will we!
Final Thoughts
Boku no Hero Academia chapter 233 wasn’t a very long chapter—only 15 pages—but the sheer amount of awesome this chapter contained was just downright incredible! We have Re-Destro showing his might and we have Gigantomachia getting closer at just the right time to save our evil leader. When will the grand climax between giants occur in Boku no Hero Academia? We think possibly in the next few chapters, but for now, we will just re-read chapter 233 a few times to hold us over. What are your thoughts on this exciting chapter of Boku no Hero Academia?
