Boku no Hero Academia might have been focused lately on dark histories and epic power struggles but never forget that this series can be quite silly and goofy. Chapter 241 of Boku no Hero Academia focuses on our training heroes as they learn media presence is much of a hero’s job as saving people. Our class is taught by Mt. Lady who tries to run various heroes through mini interviews to see their skills. Needless to say, most of our young warriors are far from camera savvy and tend to either be awkward or overly aggressive—Bakugo and Shota—or extremely nervous and prone to muttering non-stop, in this case Deku. If there is anything serious to take away from this chapter it would come in the form of Deku showing some control over his multiple abilities—despite the limiter power he shows—and the next wave of work studies is starting up quite soon! Quick and short chapter but one that made us smile and laugh seeing some of our favorite heroes being silly and not focusing too much on the recent issues happening around them. Here’s why you shouldn’t pass up chapter 241 of Boku no Hero Academia!
1. Smile Wide!
Heroes in comics and various other mediums have always been shown to be very camera focused. That’s why it makes sense to have our heroes in Boku no Hero Academia undergo basic camera etiquette to avoid making themselves look foolish after saving the day! Deku stole the chapter though with his weird stiffness and then tidal wave of muttering. We laughed so hard during this sequence as we know Deku has a long way to go before he’s camera ready.
2. Round Two of Work Studies SOON!
If we’ve learned anything from Boku no Hero Academia it would be that work studies in the series have led to some interesting moments. With our heroes entering their next set we can only imagine some run ins with either big name villains or even possibly lesser known brutes. Final Thoughts
This week’s Boku no Hero Academia chapter hit all the right notes needed to relax us from the intensity of the last arc. Rather than go right back into the fray with a ton of action or some world changing events, we see our heroes doing something lighthearted and relaxing.
