Discussion Time

Boku no Hero Academia chapter 242 started off on a scary note that surprised us a bit. Our UA Academy of heroes talked about the latest work studies coming up but with a somber attitude. Fearing that the new heroes are going into the fray, our principal says it best, heroes have to be ready for anything. Meanwhile, All Might is contacted about going back to the school because…it’s Christmas! After a fearful beginning, we enter Christmas with our young heroes and watch them celebrate the grand holiday as best as they can! Deku, though, is a bit sad seeing as how he has no group to join during the next work studies program. Then our quick chapter ends with an intriguing question by Shota. Our fire/ice user asks Deku and Bakugo if they would like to join him in joining with his father! What possibility does this lead to for Deku and the always angry Bakugo? We can't wait to see but in the meantime let us review chapter 242 of Boku no Hero Academia and talk about why you should read it.

Why You Should Read Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) Chapter 242

1. Foreshadowing The Future?

We mentioned it last week, but work studies hasn't ever been met with peace and simplicity. Everytime our training heroes joined a group to do a work study something chaotic has occurred and it looks like our pro heroes fear this will occur in this upcoming session. Is this a sign that our students will face a threat worse than previously endured? We're not sure, but it does get our blood pumping as we wonder what will happen!

2. Christmas in September!

Guess what, folks! According to Boku no Hero Academia, it's already Christmas! All jokes aside, the Christmas celebration allowed our kids some time to relax and enjoy the festivities rather than deal with constant hero related drama. There's an ominous feeling we get from Boku no Hero Academia doing this happy holiday event, but it allows us to relax for a bit as the action has been non stop as of late. Peace and quiet is always a good thing and heroes need it especially!

Final Thoughts

This week’s Boku no Hero Academia chapter was more about festivities, but you can't forget the odd foreshadowing that occurred either. Will our heroes—both pro and trainee—face a dangerous work studies session? It could very well be the beginning of a giant battle and that excites us greatly!
