This is the spin-off anime movie of the Hollywood live-action movie "Bright".

It is between the end of the Edo period and the beginning of the Meiji period. The long Edo period has come to an end with light (the power of wands) instead of blood, and a new era is dawning. In this world, Izo, a one-eyed ronin who has lost his purpose in life, and Raiden, an orc who is tired of killing people and wants to quit banditry, meet Sonya, an elf girl. Together, they travel the Tokaido highway to deliver her wand safely to the land of elves in the north. Standing in their way is a mysterious organization called the Infani, who are trying to obtain the wand to revive their Dark Lord. The Infani even involve the new government in their attempts to steal the wand. Set on the Tokaido highway from Kyoto to Yokohama, Izo and Raiden’s journey to protect the wand begins.
