"The new coronavirus infection has spread around the world, and the number of
infected people has exceeded 100 million, but there is no prospect of ending it yet.
Under such circumstances, Kodansha produced "New Coronavirus Edition" and "Infection Prevention Edition" of the manga about anthropomorphized cells in the body "Cells at Work! ", with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare .
With the support of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), these two works will be translated into English and Hindi, and will be distributed free of charge to the world as "moving comics" with audio and sound effects.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the medical professionals who are fighting at the forefront, and hope that people all over the world will deepen their understanding of the new coronavirus infection through manga and that each and every one of them will prevent it and overcome this crisis together."
