What You Need to Know:
- It has been revealed that Tatsuki Fujimoto's popular manga"Chainsaw Man", which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump and has a cumulative circulation of over 5 million including the digital version, will be made into a TV animation!
- The anime version will be produced by MAPPA , known for the movie "In This Corner of the World", "Yuri!!! on ICE", and "Jujutsu Kaisen". Fujimoto, the original author of the manga commented "Will the animation production company of Dorohedoro and Jujutsu Kaisen do a chainsaw man like Dorohedoro and Jujutsu Kaisen!? I have nothing to say but, I leave it in their hands".
- Story: Chainsaw Man’s protagonist, Denji, has a bit of an odd choice for a pet. His pet is called Pochita, a demon. Denji isn’t that good at handling finances. He’s done all the weird jobs and even sold off his organs just to earn money, including his testicle. Nonetheless, he’s still short. Just as the yakuza is about to kill him for his debts, though, Pochita merges with his body and turns him into the titular Chainsaw Man. Denji gets recruited at the Public Safety Bureau as as a devil hunter and will do anything he must to achieve his dreams of just living a peaceful life hanging out with a girl. (Honey's Anime)
