- It's that time again! Crunchyroll will be livestreaming the third annual Anime Awards on February 16 on Twitch, and this time they have a lot in store for you! More than 5M votes were cast for this year’s Anime Awards! Now is the time to tune in and check out what happens next.
- Last week the team announced an incredible slate of presenters including Michelle Phan, Freddie Wong, and Ryan Potter. Each presenter will discuss the results in their category after the winners have been announced.
- The Industry Icon Award will honor those who have meaningfully contributed to the art and industry of anime. Crunchyroll is proud to announce that this year they will be honoring Masahiko Minami, President. & Producer at BONES INC. Minami-san will be accepting the award in-person in San Francisco in front of our live studio audience.
- Also in celebration of the Anime Awards, Crunchyroll has teamed up with Twitch to bring the otaku community some of Crunchyroll's favorite anime from 2018, including nominees. The marathon kicks off Sunday, February 10th at 10 AM PST in the U.S. More details can be found below!
