What You Need to Know:
- It's commonplace here in Japan to see characters from anime, manga, and movies plastered over various foodstuff packaging - but it's not often that a series inspires the actual ingredients!
- But that's not the case with Dagashi Kashi - heroine Hotaru Shidare's love for snacks and different flavour combinations has motivated two major Japanese snack companies, Baby Star Ramen and Butamen, to create two brand-new flavours in collaboration with the series.
- Butamen will be selling their (fish roe) mentai-mayo flavour instant ramen on February 2, and Baby Star, a dried noodle snack, will be releasing their Coconut Curry flavour on March 14.
- Of course, the packaging also features our favourite snack-crazy character. Check them out below!
