The second part of the 2nd season of Danganronpa.

Kibougamine Gakuen is a government-authorised, privileged school established in order to bring together and raise the highest class students in all fields. At this academy exist two courses: the ‘Regular Class’ for extremely gifted students and the ‘Reserve Class’ in which anyone can enrol - as long as they pay the high school fees.

The students of the 77th Regular Class are not only gifted, they also have strong personalities. However, they’re not fixated on their gifts and learn that the important thing in life is not talent, but relationships with other people, improving themselves, and making memories. Each of them celebrate being able to live like normal high school students.

However, underneath the surface lurks the execution of a mysterious project and rampant discrimination between the classes by the school. Hajime Hinata is a Reserve Class student who longs to be gifted. A certain fateful meeting this young man has will lead the school, and the future, in an unthinkable direction.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Makoto Naegi

Voice Actor: Megumi Ogata

Naegi was able to enter Kibougamine Gakuen and the 78th class precisely because of his luck - he’s even known as the Ultimate Lucky Student. However, he’s not all that lucky if his involvement in the Koroshiai is anything to go by. A normal boy with no distinguishing traits and the usual hobbies. He’s a pacifist and a kind, warm-hearted boy. Although modest, he’s somewhat unreliable.

Kyouko Kirigiri

Voice Actor: Yoko Hikasa

Naegi’s classmate. One of the two heroines in the tale, she is mysterious, rarely talking about herself. She is known as the Ultimate ??? with no one knowing what her ability actually is. A very calm character, she has a strong mentality and is able to take action very quickly, but doesn’t show her emotions easily. She also has good insight and is very intelligent.

Aoi Asahina

Voice Actor: Chiwa Saitou

Known as the Ultimate Swimming Pro, a member of the 78th class. Although her special skill is swimming, she actually likes sports in general, and is in a total of six sports-related clubs. She has tanned skin because she plays a lot of sports outside in the sun. With her positive personality, she can easily influence the mood of the group. She’s very innocent and finds it hard to respond to dirty jokes.

Yasuhiro Hagakure

Voice Actor: Masaya Matsukaze

Known as the Ultimate Clairvoyant in the 78th class, his predictions is 20-30% accurate, and a few of his customers are famous people. According to him, the reason why his predictions aren’t 100% correct is because if they were, they would no longer be predictions but a superpower. Although he is a high school student, he repeated his year for 3 years, so he is actually over 20.

Voice Actor: TARAKO

He is the leader and creator of the killing game, Koroshiai. He’s a walking, talking stuffed bear with half-white, half-black colouring, and can often be heard laughing cruelly. However, after a bomb is planted in him and he explodes, a spare Monokuma appears, so it seems that he’s mass-produced.
