- The spin-off of the popular manga series Detective Conan (Case Closed), "Detective Conan: Police Academy Arc – Wild Police Story" is getting an anime adaptation! This was announced on the release date of Detective Conan's 100th manga volume.
- Police Academy Arc – Wild Police Story features the younger days of the five policeman characters; Rei Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda, Kenji Hagiwara, Wataru Date, and Hiromitsu Morofushi.
