  • Today marks another special day in the anime world, as two memorable action anime made their anime debut in Japan April 11th, Jormugand and Knights of Sidonia! Most of you will likely be more familiar with Knights of Sidonia, also known as Sidonia no Kishi here in Japan, the sci-fi action anime that was nominated for the Animation of the Year Award in the Television category at the 2015 Tokyo Anime Award Festival. If that isn't enough of a reason to watch the show, check out our articles about it and watch the 2nd season as well, which came out a year after the 1st season debuted! The opening theme for the 1st season titled "Sidonia" by artist Angela won an award known as the Kobe Theme Song Award, in 2014 as well!
  • Jormungand didn't win any significant awards like Knights of Sidonia did but boy is the action really wild in this one! If you're into guns, and lots of them, with a lot of incredible visuals done by famed studio White Fox, the same ones behind Steins;Gate, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Akame ga Kill!, and the more recent Goblin Slayer, then Jormungand is a classic anime that we highly recommend checking out!
