What You Need to Know:
- The upcoming Donten ni Warau Gaiden (Laughing Under the Clouds Gaiden) revealed a new PV on their website teasing the first of three movies in the upcoming trilogy.
- Directed by WIT STUDIO (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri, Shingeki no Kyojin), the first movie is slated for a December 2nd debut, but there is a bit of confusion about this series as on the official website they state the the series is going to be three movies. However, on an English version of a site for a broadcaster in Japan, the series is listed for 9 episodes for 20 minutes each. Could we be looking at a possible broadcast after the movie leaves theaters where they just chop it up into episodes? Who knows for sure, but what we do know is that we are excited for the movies!
- Donten ni Warau (Laughing at the Clouds) was an anime that Aired from October to December 2014. It inspired a Live Action Movie this year in March, and now there are three movies coming that are going to tell a side story. We sure hope there is some truth to the rumored 2nd Season!
I have been waiting for this to come out! I just wish it was longer.
