What You Need to Know:
- It has been announced that the Donten ni Warau (Laughing Under the Clouds) side story, Donten ni Warau Gaiden, will be getting an anime adaptation under WIT STUDIO in winter 2017.
- The Donten ni Warau Gaiden manga was in serialisation from December 2013 until February this year, and contains a selection of stories that take place before and after the parent series.
- Although Donten ni Warau got an anime series back in fall 2014, the side story anime will apparently be "shown in theatres" this winter, suggesting it may take the form of a movie or OVA. However, we'll be back when more details are revealed!

I wonder why Doga Kobo aren't animating this one? Although I'm sure WIT STUDIO will do a good job...
I'm just upset that it might not be a series... I want another full series!!
