- While the anime adaptation of Dragon's Dogma will reportedly follow the same story as the game but using new characters.
- The story follows the protagonist Ethan, who loses shi heart to a dragon while trying to protect his family and wakes up as an “Arisen”. Ethan then takes on the challenge of hunting seven dragons named after the seven deadly sins. Ethan's final goal is to take revenge on the dragon that took his heart.
- Dragon's Dogma is planned to stream on Netflix on September 17th, 2020.
