Synopsis

Once upon a time, the God of the Land of the Rising Sun held a festival to choose twelve divine messengers to protect his newly born land. Twelve Eto-Musume girls were chosen as signs of the Chinese zodiac and have been protecting the land ever since. Together with the cat, who wasn’t chosen. This is the story of those thirteen girls...

It’s a few months after ETM12, the once-every-60-years festival to select Eto-Shin (Zodiac Gods), and cat and rat have managed to (sort of) settle their 2000-year grudge. Nyaatan, who is back from her Sol/Lull battles around the world, is taking advantage of Takeru’s absence due to a school trip to have a great time with the Eto-Shin. Then, one day, a mysterious girl named Naatan appears.

The Eto-Shin are bewildered by the appearance of Naatan, who adores Nyaatan like an older sister and doesn’t even try to hide her favoritism. Nyaatan, who gets on very well with Naatan, is over the moon. Everyone welcomes their new roommate and waits for Takeru’s return in their usual lively manner.

Then, one day at Takeru’s house, the Eto-Shin sense an unusual presence in the world. Suddenly, Chuutan appears from the sky and declares that she has some news.

“The seal has been broken...”

It turns out that Naatan is actually a divine messenger of the gods who has been entrusted with a mission that she has forgotten...
