- Yesterday at the end of the final episode of Free!, the very final shot says "See You in 2020...". We now know that the series will be getting a sequel! Whether that is a movie, OVA, or new season, we know for sure that it is coming. We will let you know when more information is released.
- Free! -Dive to the Future- (3rd Season) debuted on July 11 and ran for a total of 12 episodes. A special episode that serves as a prequel will come bundled with the very first Blu-ray release. Nah, this is totally going to be a TV anime. Think about it, Kyoto Animation would want to release this during the Olympics so they can maximize their revenue.
