3 Major Similarities Between Karneval and Saredo Tsumibito wa Ryuu to
1. Violence and bloodshed
If you’re more of a No. 6 kind of fujoshi than a Free! Fujoshi, you’ll appreciate the battles and killing shared by the two anime. More than just finding their place and figuring out their feelings, Saredo Tsumibito have a desperate life-or-death feel to them that heightens all other emotions. Their enemies are scary, powerful monsters as opposed to simple love rivals but their enough to make the guys question what they mean to each other!
2. Main characters are partners
Instead of just having some hot men on display, these anime sort of pair up two cuties that make you think of just how easy and convenient it would be if they were to fall in love! While Gareki and Nai become unlikely partners, Gaius and Gigina are an established fighting duo before the anime takes place. Seeing them fight alongside and support each other makes it easier to imagine them doing other things together!
3. Government and politics
There’s something kind of awe-inspiring when the choices our beautiful men make affect their city or country at large! Gaius and Gigina must also fight in respect to the wishes of their government, even if they skirt the rules a bit here and there. Both anime deal heavily with the consequences of choices that affect more than just those directly involved.
Liked Karneval? Watch Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori!
- Episodes: 12
- Aired: April 2018 – June 2018
Welcome to Rokuhoudou where 4 friends work hard to provide a quiet respite of tasty treats. Sui is an expert tea-maker and is great and putting customers at ease. Tokitaka is the artistic and talented chef who desires to create food with a delicious taste and aesthetic appeal. What Gure lacks in artistic flair he makes up for with passion and his amazing coffee. Tsubaki may not be as comfortable as Sui when it comes to handling customers but he’s a genius when it comes to sweets and coming up with special seasonal items customers would be excited about.
3 Major Similarities Between Karneval and Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori
1. Guys with very different lives team up
While Rokuhoudou is very tame compared to Karneval, both anime have several guys who under most circumstances wouldn’t have teamed up join forces to do something great. Gareki and Nai use their unique knowledge and skills to find Nai’s friend and protect humans from man-eating monsters. Sui, Tokitaka, Tsubaki, and Gure use their individual talents to create a safe-haven away from the worries and troubles of life. The magnitude of their actions are different but their desires to help others as well as their affection for each other ring true in both shows.
2. Lots of dashing men
Karneval and Rokuhoudou have a selection of men to match your tastes and while they are obviously affectionate towards each other it’s not so much that you can’t self-insert. While we have our main two in Karneval, supporting and recurring characters Yogi and Hirato are good-looking and charming. One of Rokuhoudou’s strongest features is its 4-men main cast of dissimilar though attractive guys.
