Synopsis
Gloomy is Pity’s pet bear. He’s just over 2m tall and weighs 2,000 pomegranates. He’s been properly trained but has a hard time remembering that it’s not okay to maul people. Once an owner decides to get a pet, it’s their obligation to take responsibility for it and raise it well. So each day Pity tries his best to be a good owner and coexist with Gloomy, while holding onto the faint memories of his childhood in his heart.

Gloomy: Kouichi Yamadera
A very ferocious bear. He was abandoned soon after he was born, but was picked up by Pity and grew up fast. Sometimes he attacks Pity, but since they are always together, it doesn’t seem like Gloomy views Pity as hostile or his prey.
Pity: Natsuki Hanae
Gloomy’s owner. When he was small, his mother threw away the teddy bear that he loved. He has been living with that sadness ever since -- until one day he comes across a bear that bears a striking resemblance to his teddy. After the bear Gloomy grows up, he gains the upper hand in strength and is able to easily overpower Pity. He often attacks Pity, seriously injuring him. But no matter what happens, Pity always stays by his side, never wavering or abandoning him. He is an owner with a very kind and pure heart.
