Synopsis
It’s the finals of the U.S. Gunpla Battle Championship where intense battles unfold. And it is there that a certain fighter appeared on the battlefield.
A few months later, Misa Satsukino, who uses battling as an outlet for her unfocused anger, seems to be in a fouler mood than usual and assembles a new Gunpla at the Ayato Shopping District. Ready to take out her frustrations, she sets her completed Gunpla in the battle simulator. The simulation initiates normally, but suddenly her Gunpla is bound by strange red shackles, rendering her unable to move.
With the GB Festival, a large-scale event near at hand, the fate of the Gunpla fighters is on the verge of a major upheaval.
Characters & Voice Actors
Misa Satsukino: Yuka Iguchi
To prevent the Ayato Shopping District, the place where she grew up, from declining any further and to attract more people to the area, she creates a Gunpla team and names it after the shopping district. She’s a hard worker who acts without thinking things through.
Kadomatsu: Tomokazu Sugita
A researcher and computer science expert who loves any kind of game or activity that uses computers. His hobby is Gunpla battles, where he takes on the role of team support engineer.
Ryusei Fudou: Kenshou Ono
A senior at Kanami High School. Sana strong-arms him into joining the Gunpla club and he develops a friendly rivalry with Touma. Ryusei receives a crash course on Gunpla battles from an upperclassman named Lindow, and quickly discovers that he’s got a talent for them. He performs exceptionally well in the individual battles of the High School Gunpla Triple Crown Tournament.
Sana Miyama: Rie Takahashi
She strongly “persuades” Ryusei to join the Gunpla club at Kanami High School for fear of it being disbanded due to not having enough members. She doesn’t think very highly of herself as a Gunpla fighter, but as she continues to battle, she discovers herself and starts to truly enjoy Gunpla.
Touma Aizen: Yuki Ono
He and Ryusei are good rivals. He used to be the captain of the Gunpla club at Kanami High School, but he transferred to a different high school affiliated with Gokusode University in order to provide for his family by becoming a pro Gunpla fighter.
