What You Need to Know:
- With fans worried about the future of the status of the Haifuri series following the studio that animated it shutting down and filing bankruptcy, it seems that the series has been able to withstand the test of time. Now under the stewardship of A-1 Pictures, the series is set to come back in movie form.
- The movie is simply titled "Gekijouban High School Fleet", and according to the trailer, it will have a new story and debut next spring in 2020.
- All of the TV anime seiyuu have been confirmed to be reprising their roles with Yuu Nobuta returning as head director. Jun Kawagawa will be assisting him as a director with Tadaaki Suzuki and Kunihiko Okada working on the scripts. Naoto Nakamura returns as both character designer and Animation director.
