Set on the stage nicknamed ‘Himote House’, these girls overflowing with individuality worry about how they can become more attractive and popular while living a bit loudly and vibrantly.

Finally, these five girls and one animal, all have some sort of special power.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Tae Hongo

Voice Actor: Aya Suzaki

Tae is a university friend of Kokoro’s who has come to live at Himote House. Rather than hold back, Tae speaks whatever comes to mind first and is a fiery troublemaker. She has a rather indifferent personality, and is the type to do stuff in the spur of the moment. She has plans to start working in a department shop in Shinjuku in the spring.

Kokoro Himote

Voice Actor: Satomi Akasaka

Kokoro is the youngest of the three Himote sisters. She is a frank and serious person as well as a realist. She is also quite clever. She loves cats and looks after the house cat, Enishi. Her hobby is playing otome games, so she dreams of having a beautiful romance. She has an unexpectedly feminine side to her, liking character goods, etc.

Kinami Himote

Voice Actor: Suzuko Mimori

Kinami is the middle child of the three Himote sisters. Of her three sisters, she is the one most suited for romance which means she can be a handful at times. Among all of the girls who lack attractiveness, she is the one who is the most proactive about romance. However, she always ends up going nowhere with guys and it ends in heartbreak. Kinami thinks she portrays herself as goody-goody, but due to her wild temperament, she always ends up blowing it. She works for a production company, and not in production, but at a desk.

Tokiyo Himote

Voice Actor: Kaoru Mizuhara

Tokiyo is the eldest of the three Himote sisters and has a relaxed personality making her mysterious. However, she does once in a while get hyped up about things. No one knows what she does for work. She is apparently researching some immortal being who wanders around foreign countries. She has a habit of referencing sayings from countries all over the world during conversation. Her hobby is photography.

Minamo Arai

Voice Actor: Sumire Uesaka

Minamo is Kokoro’s friend from middle school who is living in the Himote House currently. She is a gentle, soft woman who displays all of the traditional sought-after virtues. Minamo is a mysterious character that people cannot seem to put their fingers on properly, but sometimes, she does show a deep darkness residing inside of her as well. She works part-time at a bookstore while attending graduate school. She’s studying literature in hopes of being a novelist. She isn’t interested in romance at all, but she does seem to be hiding some sort of desire inside of her.

Enishi

Voice Actor: Asuka Nishi

Enishi is the pet cat of the Himote House. He gets along well with everyone. Even though he’s a cat, he appears to be allergic to them. For some random reason, he sometimes speaks in Kansai dialect. His trademark is the charm that hangs from his neck. He consciously makes an effort to say ‘nya’ at the end of every sentence in order to not forget that he is, in fact, a cat. He does forget to do this sometimes, though. His birthday is unknown.
