Itsuki Hashima is an author who is obsessed with little sisters and only writes works about little sisters. Surrounding him, are various individuals with varying degrees of personalities. There is the genius novelist and pervert, Nayuta Kani, the female university student, Miyako Shirakawa, the illustrator, Puriketsu, the demonic tax accountant Ashley Oono and more.

Each having their own issues, Itsuki and co. spend their days quite lively writing novels, playing games, drinking alcohol, and declaring their taxes. The one who warmly looks after all of them is Chihiro Hashima, Itsuki’s younger brother who has a certain secret.

These are the anime that we live for. Trashy, raunchy, and a total train wreck coming with gags spilling out of the sides, Imouto Sae Ireba Ii is for those who love this sort of setup where it is a harem without being a harem. Itsuki is so strung out, he writes bizarre supernatural alien magical little sister stories. Nayuta makes sexual advances nonstop and is shot down nonstop. Chihiro looks like a little sister, and probably is one since he has a secret that he is ‘hiding.’ To top it all off, Itsuki has a level-headed friend in Haruto, but ignores his advice completely.
