Synopsis
Shut-in gamer Takuma Sakamoto is summoned to another world by Shera and Rem, who both claim to be his master. He appears as his in-game character Diablo from the MMO he plays, Cross Reverie, and together they spend their days in this world that looks identical to the game. They fight against elite troops from the Elven Kingdom, slay demons, and subdue the resurrected demon lord, Krebskulm.
Diablo puts on a high and mighty persona worthy of a demon lord and goes up against the strongest of foes. He is sometimes toyed with by beautiful women, but always ends up building solid relationships of trust with them.
One day while Diablo, Shera and Rem are traveling through Eastern Lakefront Forest, they come across a young maiden who looks worn out. Having just prayed to God, in a state of confusion she asks Diablo, “Are you...God?” It turns out that she is Lumachina, the high priestess of the Church of Celestials, and was being chased by a Paladin.
The socially awkward demon lord Diablo must push his way forward with absolute strength, and together with summoners Shera and Rem, the tale of their dream-filled adventure unfolds once again.

Diablo: Masaaki Mizunaka
The protagonist of the story who was summoned to another world as his in-game character, Diablo. His real name is Takuma Sakamoto. Shera and Rem cast a spell on him to make him their slave, but he was wearing “The Demon Lord’s Ring” -- an item that reflects spells back at their caster -- resulting in the two of them becoming his slaves instead. He is able to use all of the magic spells he learned in the MMORPG Cross Reverie, making him extremely powerful. In order to get through each day and hide his social ineptness, he fully embraces the persona of a demon lord.
Shera L. Greenwood: Yu Serizawa
A young elf who is often a bit slow to connect the dots. Together with Rem she summons Diablo, but after their spell to enslave him backfires, she is stuck wearing a slave collar around her neck. Elves typically have a slender physique, but you wouldn’t think so based on the size of Shera’s large breasts. Her true identity is the first princess of the Elven Kingdom of Greenwood. She is remarkably skilled with a bow, but for some reason she aspires to be a summoner.
Rem Galeu: Azumi Waki
A Pantherian girl who summons Diablo with Shera, but after their spell to enslave him backfires, she becomes the slave instead. She must wear a slave collar until the spell is broken. Pantherian females are said to have well developed chests, so her tiny chest makes her feel very insecure about her body. She hides the fact that the soul of Demon Lord Krebskulm is sealed within her body. Diablo eventually takes it out of her with the help of Edelgard. Striving to soar to greater heights, she continues her adventurers around the world.
Lumachina Weselia: Miku Itou
A young maiden and high priestess who holds the highest position within the Church of Celestials. While being chased by a Paladin, she is rescued by Diablo. She has an unwavering faith in God and a strong sense of justice.
Rose: Aoi Koga
A young girl who is a Magimatic Maid. She has the appearance of a human but is actually an automated doll that uses magic power to move. She boasts tremendous strength, but is slightly delusional.
Horn: Fumiko Uchimura
A Grasswalker adventurer from Zircon Tower City. She is a Seeker and guides adventurers through dungeons. She is skilled at picking locks.
Fanis Laminitus: Chika Akagi
The feudal lord of Zircon Tower City. She’s a high level Magi-Gunner who fights with magically empowered guns. She has zero respect for the Church of Celestials or Paladins, and calls them “swindlers.”
Alicia: Yumi Hara
An Imperial Knight who reports directly to the king. She’s the daughter of a duke, gifted with intelligence and beauty. Her communication skills are exceptional and the courtesy she shows everyone is a shining example of what it means to be a knight. However, that is only a public facade. She truly admires the demon lords and plots to fully resurrect Demon Lord Krebskulm. After her plot fails, she is about to take her own life but is stopped by Diablo. She pledges to serve him and atone for what she has done.
Sylvie: Rumi Okubo
A Grasswalker who is the Guildmaster of the Adventurer's Guild in Faltra City. She gives quests to Diablo and his group. Her age is unknown.
Edelgardo: Emiri Katou
A Fallen that speaks in broken sentences. She pledges her loyalty to Klem, the resurrected demon lord, and takes care of her. She lives together with Klem in Faltra City, all the while concealing the fact that she is a Fallen from the locals.
Klem: Atsumi Tanezaki
Her real name is Krebskulm. She lives a peaceful life in the form of a little girl, but her true form is a resurrected demon lord. Diablo cast a slave spell on her, but she still possesses an immense amount of power. Hiding her true identity, she currently resides in Faltra City. She loves biscuits.
May: Yuka Morishima
A pretty girl who works at the Peace of Mind Inn in Faltra where Diablo and his group are staying. She always has a cute smile on her face, but she can be terrifying when she’s angry.
Celestine: Ayaka Senbongi
The head of the Mage Association. She uses her magic to keep up a barrier that protects Faltra City from invasions by the Fallen and Demonic Beasts.
Emile: Ryutaro Okiayu
A knight who belongs to the Adventurer’s Guild in Faltra City. He’s a self-proclaimed “guardian of all women” and “ally to all allies of women.” Despite his flaws, Emile is a nice guy and a genuinely good person.
