- This news came as an immediate shock to the anime world, as official word from CEO Ray Chiang announced that Anime Expo 2020 has been cancelled, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic that's affecting the world tremendously. Ray delivered his message to the world just several hours ago and it's quite sad knowing that one of the biggest events in the world for anime, has now been cancelled until next year. We here at Honey's Anime are incredibly saddened by this as we always attend Anime Expo every year, to show our support to such a wonderful community.
