What You Need to Know:
- Have you ever heard of Neko Ramen by Kenji Sonishi? Well now another series by the same creator, called Neko Neko Nihonshi (Kitty Cat Japanese History), will be getting an anime from April 6 2016.
- Based on Sonishi's four-panel webcomic, the series of shorts follows feline depictions - anthropurrmorphisms, if you will - of Japanese historical greats, such as dynamic daimyo Nobunaga Oda and samurai Ryouma Sakamoto.
- Produced by Joker Films, Tomohiro Kawamura will be directing, with Kyou Shimizu and Ryou Takada writing the script and the latter also taking charge of the series composition.
- If you enjoy Japanese history, or maybe want to learn a little about it, this is one anime to watch out furr!
