What You Need to Know:
- Earlier this week, Nissin, known for their instant Cup Noodles, launched a new collaboration campaign with the anime Kaguya-sama: Love is War in China!
- Aniplex's YouTube channel posted the ad video, which is basically a 3-minute Kaguya-sama episode, complete with all our favorite characters, awkwardness and all!
- In the video, Ishigami, Fujiwara, and Shirogane are all enjoying their seafood cup noodles from Nissin during lunch time when Kaguya shows up and asks what that amazing aroma is. As a rich girl, they realize she as probably never had instant noodles before and so they all explain to her everything from the little fork included in the lid to how the aroma flows as soon as hot water is added in. Once it's ready, Fujiwara tells her she needs to blow on it before eating it by using the Japanese onomatopaeia "Fu Fu", but "Fufu" is also what a term for married couple sounds like so obviously Shirogane and Kaguya freak out for a second. Once that is cleared up and Kaguya melts at the sight of her favorite president blowing on his noodles before eating, she tries them and just yells "Kaicho, Daisuki!" which sounds like she declared her love for Shirogane but really she was just saying it's so delicious! (Sure, Kaguya, whatever you say...)
