Synopsis
Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san tells the story of Nishikata as he is mercilessly teased by the girl who sits next to him in class, Takagi. So, he decides to get his own revenge on her. But can he successfully rile her up as she does him?

Takagi-san is a girl who sits next to Nishikata and always enjoys getting the best of him.
Nishikata

Nishikata sits next to Takagi-san and is constantly teased by her. He is also always polishing a plan to get back at her, but actually is the one who ends up getting made fun of.
Mina

Mina is full of cheerful energy and loves to smile. She is a glutton.
Yukari

Yukari is the class committee head, and her redeeming feature is her seriousness. She has an unfathomable interest in romance.
Sanae

Nakai

Nakai is a classmate of Nishikata who often talks to him. It appears that he is going out with Mano.

Mano is a good friend of Takagi-san. It appears that she is going out with Nakai.
Takao

Takao is a classmate of Nishikata’s. This boy has large front teeth and wears glasses.
Kimura

Kimura is also a classmate of Nishikata’s. He’s a big chubby and his specialty is eating his bento before lunchtime.
Tanabe-sensei

Tanabe-sensei is a member of the faculty at the junior high school that Nishikata attends. He is the scariest teacher in the school.
