- It's no news to us that Kimi No Na Wa is the hit movie of the year, breaking numerous box office records and winning awards left and right. Taiwan is no exception.
- As of the 31st of October, the revenue in Taipei ALONE has reached 52,909,581TWD (16.9 billion JPY). It has exceeded the previous record holder for the top grossing Japanese films in the country Howl's Moving Castle (for animation film) with 47,404,930TWD and The Ring (1999) (for non-animation film) with 50,836,840TWD.
- Sales revenue in Taiwan has already reached 125,556,618TWD (40.1 billion JPY) as of the 31st.
- The movie premiered in Singapore last November 3rd, and is set to be shown in Hong Kong (November 11th), England (November 24th), and South Korea (early January next year), and it is expected that it will be a box office hit in those countries as well.
