All that is left is the club president when a delinquent young boy visits along with a girl who is a genius with koto music.

This story of the sound of koto from each student all come together to tell this story of youths at an academy.

Chika Kudou

Voice Actor: Yuuma Uchida

Chika is a first-year student and a member of the Tokise high school Koto music club. After being a firestarter and getting into fights day and night as a middle school student, he has now come to live with his grandfather who is a professional koto musician.

Takezou Kurata

Voice Actor: Junya Enoki

Takezou is a second-year student and a member of the Tokise high school Koto music club. His seniors have all graduated leaving him the sole member of the Koto music club which is about to be dissolved.

Satowa Houzuki

Voice Actor: Atsumi Tanezaki

Satowa is a first-year student and a member of the Tokise high school Koto music club. She is the only daughter of a famous Koto musician family, the Houzuki family, and thus, has won quite a few awards in the Koto world.

Tetsuki Takaoka

Voice Actor: Yoshimasa Hosoya

Tetsuki is a first-year student at Tokise high school. He isn’t a member of the club, but outside of regular club activities, he helps Chika the members in various situations. When he was in middle school when Chika was a troublemaker, he either scolded Chika or looked after him carefully.

Saneyasu Adachi

Voice Actor: Haruki Ishiya

Saneyasu’s nickname is ‘Sane’. When he was in middle school, Chika saved him in a fight and that’s how they became friends.

Michitaka Sakai

Voice Actor: Makoto Furukawa

Michitaka’s nickname is ‘Mittsu’. Just like Sane, Michitaka is a friend of Chika’s since middle school.

Kota Mizuhara

Voice Actor: Yuuichi Iguchi

Kota’s nickname is ‘Kouta’. He’s a friendly, optimistic person who sets the mood for the group. He’s often with Sane and Mittsu.
