- It has been revealed that Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, known as KonoSuba to fans, will be getting an OVA bundled with the limited edition 12th volume of the light novel.
- The special episode will be based on an original story by the author, Natsume Akatsuki. The 12th volume will go on sale on July 24 2017.
- The second season of the anime adaptation is set to start airing on January 12 2017.

Oooh new KonoSuba is never bad news. I wonder where in the timeline the OVA will be set?
Well the second season will be over by the time it comes out, but I imagine it will be a stand-alone story.
